  • I guess it's much better to sit in a tree, or lie wait in a trench for an unsuspecting animal to come by to get slaughtered for sport. Maybe it's better to abuse bulls for bull riding, or horses and dogs for racing as a sport. i don't know. They all seem pretty f'd up to me.

  • Who cares what a priest says? He's a mortal just like me. No where in the Bible does it designate the catholic church as "The Church." I can get communion from another church. Which I do anyway.

  • If there is ever a third or a fourth party, it would have to be moderate in order to gain traction. Sarah Palin is far from moderate. I think she has a bright future in the republican party. By the same token, the GOP has to redefine itself.

  • Perhaps. But those are the main issues that he ran on. Ending the Iraq war would free up some of the money.  The economy and the Iraq war should be his main focus, before he moves on to other issues, I think.

  • I guess we can agree to disagree on this one.  I mean, he won the popular vote by nearly 8 million votes. That is plenty. Electorally, he won states that dems haven't won in decades. Nevertheless, Obama must still govern from the center.
